Math Sucks.
I hate math. Well, more specifically, I hate my math teacher. He's old and senile and doesn't make a bit of sense. So much for AP math. =(

Re: Math Sucks.
Hey, I can offer you some advice on that subject, as I experienced a similar predicament when I was your age...
I was in 8th grade, taking math, and my teacher probably shouldn't have been teaching. He was old, didn't like kids, but liked to eat. I had dropped out of advanced math the year before (I stuck it out for the year, but I figured I would learn more in the other class because I was planning on taking a ton of A.P. classes in high school, and didn't want to deal with a subject I didn't like.), so since the teacher didn't give a crap, I started being the teacher, because I already knew all the stuff from the year before. Well, we all started this little study group during class (which might not work for you, but you could get permission... or be very quiet or something), and we taught ourselves the math, and ended up getting A's!
So don't get discouraged. You can actually learn more by teaching yourself, because you know how you like to learn. It really helps.
So don't throw A.P. math out of the picture; The year has just started, and you have plenty of time to pull ahead and kick math in the rear. You've got this, and I believe in you, so just keep moving forward and never loose hope. Keep your eye on the prize, because even when it's too dark to see, it's always there, and never forget that.

Re: Math Sucks.
Aww! Thank you, Becca.
My day sucked butt. *slaps math teacher across face with math book*
You know that one problem that I was working on? The one about Mallory and Lisa? And how Mal, when Lisa's 23 years old, Lisa'd be 46? Well, I raised my hand to answer the question and Mr. Needs-to-retire-today called on me. So, I said, "23, 46," as they were coordinates. Then Mr. NTRT said, "23.46? Hmm... I'll--" Me, now overly disgruntled from a latter affair and this I yelled back (and, folks, yelling was an understatement) "NO! I SAID THE Y IS 23 AND THE X IS 46!!! NOT 23.46!..." Kids were staring at me & laughing because I was gripping my math book ready to hit his face. Now, he replied back, "... Ah.... Okay... I see..."--Then he paused for a long time and I stared right at him with my best 'evil eye'-- "Yes. It is 23, 46." OMFG. He's retarded.
I don't know if he was ever good at his profession but he sure as heck ain't any good at it anymore.
My day was filled with suck-butt experiences. I had to walk home and, as soon as I got home, cried my eyes out. I'm just so stressed. *sigh*
If I'm lucky, Mom'll let me stay home from school tomorrow for a 'mental health day.'

Re: Math Sucks.
Oh no! Well, if it helps, I have 2 hours of homework per day, 2 hours of pet maintenance, and my job at Jellyneo. Whee.
You just need to learn how to deal with stress. I'm lucky. It takes a lot for me to get stressed out.
I say go for a day off. People need a day off. But don't get behind. I'm not worried about you though. Good luck!
